Toner cartridges are simple to recycle. For schools, agencies, and organizations, recycling cartridges could offer a substantial offset to the cost of purchasing new cartridges.
However, those institutions which are not involved in recycling cartridges, often refer to not knowing how to go about it, and how it might be more trouble than it’s worth, especially if it involves packing the depleted cartridge in order to send it back, or the time that it takes to take the empty cartridges to a local office supply store—even if they may offer future incentives for their return.
Cartridge World, however, offers a cartridge recycling bin program. A recycling bin will be dropped off at the organization where empty cartridges can be subsequently deposited. Cartridge World will not only pick up the cartridges at a predetermined time, but will also issue a check to the organization for the original OEM cartridges it picks up. Schools, for example, can use the recycling bin as a fund raiser, by encouraging parents to also drop off empty cartridges. In addition, there might be some additional incentives or rebates offered the city or county where the organization resides.
Organizations can call us at 630-893-6300 when the bins are full, or we can set up a weekly or monthly pick up arrangement. The 65-gallon wheeled bins are offered to organizations without any charge. Cartridge World Bloomingdale can supply organizations with cartridge recycling posters to promote this awesome recycling program.
Environmental Alert! Cartridges filling one garbage truck, equal 13 barrels of oil. Landfills are filled with empty cartridges. Recycling cartridges can make a huge environmental difference.
